There are times we find ourselves in a cold dry climate when down jackets are the end all be all. However, there are times when we wish our super packable down jacket was…well, waterproof. The Charlie Jacket is just that kind of a jacket. Using new stitch through construction found in down sweaters throughout the market combined with packable 10k10k, 2 layer polyester shell material, we have created a waterproof down jacket that is as packable as your favorite down puffy but suited for the elements. Now we can use our puffy camping below 10,000 feet, or zip the powder skirt back in for making some laps in bounds on a chilly day. The key was combining a packable down lining with an ultra light shell. Seam tape it and call it good. One jacket for the cold weather; all year long.
