This is our 3rd waterproof puffy coat design. We believe that for certain days on the hill wearing a puffy coat is the best option for warmth. The problem before FlyLow starting making puffy's, is that mountaineering puffy coats were made to be worn at high elevations where moisture is not an issue. Those puffy's were made for the high and dry. On the other side of the spectrum, puffy's made by snowboard and ski apparel companies were not made to actually move and break a sweat in. Thus, the creation of the BA Puffy Coat. This jacket uses waterproof /breathable nylon ripstop fabric to keep the wet stuff out, but also has 15” pit zippers to cool you down at the bottom of a run or on a quick boot pack. The jacket is seam taped and uses Thinsulate™ Micro Puff insulation to keep the jacket super warm and pretty darn packable. Top this off with a hood that fits over a ski helmet, and you will be satisfied with ever aspect of this coat. Check out this video short for some extra intel. BA Puffy Jacket
